Cross Brace

The Ligero Folding Frame Wheelchair comes with a single cross-over brace for enhanced stability. For users opting for the 22” model, a double cross brace is included to provide additional support and durability.

Seat and Backrest

The seat is fire-resistant, offering added safety, while the backrest is tension-adjustable, allowing for personalised comfort and support based on individual preferences.

Armrests

The armrests are highly versatile, offering a range of configurations to suit your needs. They are height adjustable, reversible, and can be easily flipped back or removed. The armrests are equipped with a soft foam pad upholstered over a plastic base, with durable plastic side plates for extra support.

Footrests

The footrests are designed for convenience and flexibility. They are removable, swing away easily, and can be height-adjusted to provide the most comfortable position for the user.

Front Castors

The front castors come in an 8”x2” size with durable PU tyres, though other sizes are available to match specific requirements. These castors are built with a plastic rim and an aluminium front fork, ensuring smooth and reliable movement across various terrains.

Rear Wheels

The rear wheels are available in a 24” size, with options for either PU or pneumatic tyres. They are equipped with aluminium rims featuring stainless steel spokes and aluminium push-rims. The quick-release axle design ensures easy wheel removal for transport or storage.

Please be aware that the 20” and 22” models include an extra support bar between the push handles for added stability. The wheelchair weighs 13kg without wheels and 17kg with wheels, with a weight capacity of up to 120kg.
